    Le TOUGHBOOK S1, la toute dernière tablette durcie Android™ pour les travailleurs vraiment mobiles. Cet appareil doté d'un écran de 7 pouces est simple à utiliser d'une seule main, s’adapte à une multitude de tâches et offre une puissance et une solidité suffisantes pour répondre aux exigences de la plus intense des journées de travail. La tablette offre les meilleures performances aux agents de police et de sécurité qui patrouillent dans les rues, aux techniciens qui supervisent les lignes de production, aux ingénieurs de terrain qui effectuent des inspections et des opérations de maintenance, ou aux ouvriers du bâtiment sur site.  Le TOUGHBOOK S1 prend en charge la suite Panasonic COMPASS 2.0 offrant des outils pour la gestion professionnelle sur tablettes durcies et terminaux de poche Panasonic TOUGHBOOK sous Android.  

    Pour garantir que la tablette durcie puisse fonctionner pendant toute une journée de travail, elle est équipée d’un système de click and switch pour échanger les batteries à chaud. Plus besoin d’interrompre le travail, d’éteindre le terminal ou d’enlever les panneaux peu maniables pour échanger les batteries. Deux versions de batterie sont disponibles en option pour permettre au terminal de fonctionner jusqu’à 14 heures sur une seule charge.
